Bill Tappan is a commercial real estate broker and author. Today I’m gonna dissect as much as possible for ya.

First a question for ya though…

What’s got you stoppin’ by the Real Estate Spy blog to check in on the latest real estate cyber spin?

You gonna do it?

Jump out there and flip your way to freedom?

That was my goal years back. -ended in el Disastro no bueno. (note, that’s not Spanish)

Get my drift? It is a time, that taught me some big lessons. Some of which I wonder if I’m still learning.

Don’t mean to be conceptual Clark, but we don’t know what we don’t know, right?

Just a note: I’m not down on real estate investing…just a voice of reason.

My purpose? I look at who’s who in the REI biz and break down the details in a way to show you what’s happening often behind the curtain…

-AND show you as sure as an NCIS episode what can happen to your money, when you make a mistake.

To clarify ->I’m no longer actively investing in real estate (although I recovered from losing everything).

What am I up to today?

Digital Property Management. I create digital assets online. A cheaper and more efficient way to make rental income.

Look, I’m not gonna be a pitch-ya-Pete. I just want to introduce some ideas, and I’m not going to even do it now.  When you get a chance, bookmark this page and come back to it and take a look at my recommended resources area. It explains everything.

Bill Tappan Bio, Books and Background

As mentioned above, Bill (William) Tappan is a commercial real estate broker in Albuquerque, NM, and is highly experienced in conducting real estate transactions. He has written two books: Real Estate Exchange and Acquisition Techniques, and  Handbook for the Financial Analysis of Real Estate Investments.

For around $60, you can pick up a copy of Bill Tappan’s Book: Real Estate Exchange and Acquisition Techniques. He introduces a spin on an existing technique of no/low money down utilizing tax-free exchanges. You may pick up a copy if you’re looking to learn how to negotiate in some specialized financial techniques while keeping an eye on the legal ramifications of utilizing such info. Because the book is out of print you may be able to find a copy on Amazon for eBay. That would be my suggestion if you have to get your hands on it.

Would I recommend it? I don’t think so. I think there are more current information sources available for you right here online.

The book Real Estate Exchange and Acquisition Techniques can be purchased for around $60.

For information on market forces, analysis techniques, and financial analysis or real estate investments, consider purchasing Tappan’s book Handbook for the Financial Analysis of Real Estate Investments, published by McGraw-Hill. Unlike many other real estate investment materials on the market, this book does not promote get-rich-quick schemes. Instead, it provides solid information for the serious real estate investor who knows that there’s a lot of legwork to be done in this industry as in all others.

With the amount of information out there online related to real estate investing, it can be daunting. I hope that the information that I provided here as the real estate sign enables you to minimize some of the messy details of finding the right way to invest.
Don’t always provide positive reviews of the people that I take a look at, but I am committed to giving you good solid information and an alternative you want to take a look.

About the author: I give real estate investors a quick connect to what they really want and often introduce them to new material that gives them insight into what keeps them from getting the results they hoped for when they got started.
